It's My HubPages 2 Year Anniversary: Thank You to All My Fellow Hubbers!

I've been a member of HubPages for 2 years now so this hub is long and terribly overdue. Lately I have been thinking a lot about how important it is for me to thank all of you who have taken the time to read my hubs, comment on my hubs, send fan mail, answer questions I have asked, etc.. HubPages is the best community of people I've ever had the pleasure to be a part of because so many of you have been genuinely helpful and truly seem to care. I've never found such a wonderful group of supportive people! I'm going to tell on myself a little bit here...In the past, it has been difficult sometimes for me to stick to something over such a long period of time but here at HubPages it has been easy and a large part of the reason for that is because of all the great people I've met and continue to meet here. Being able to make a little money is great too but the people here have proven to be much more of a blessing than I ever anticipated. If something happened that I couldn't come back to HubPages, I think it would be very difficult for me.

There are a few people in particular I would like to mention. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE forgive me if I miss someone.....I promise it isn't intentional. There have been SO MANY wonderful and helpful people here that it's been hard to keep track of everyone.

The first ones that come to mind are a few hubbers who have been commenting on my hubs from day one and still comment to this day. To these fellow hubbers I say a special thank you:

RTalloni- I remember you from day one... I love when I "see" you in the comments of my hubs. You have come up with some really neat ideas that I would have never thought of.. I have also enjoyed reading your crafting hubs as well! Thank you and hugs :)

Kashmir56- You are another who has been here from day one. I have appreciated being able to get to know you a bit and it was neat to learn that we had some things in common. I always love reading your comments. Thank you and hugs :)

agusfanani- I remember you very clearly from day one as well! I appreciate that we share a love for recycling things and making them into crafts. You have always been a loyal commenter to my hubs and I truly appreciate it! Thank you and hugs :)

I am quite sure that I may be forgetting some people here... if so, again please forgive me! If you do belong in this group, you know who you are and I truly thank you. I will update this hub if I happen to think of any people who were not mentioned and should have been.

There were also many who helped me when I asked questions in forums or I would contact them with questions and they would explain things to me that I didn't understand when I was a new hubber. I actually had a notepad file with some names on it just for the purpose of knowing who to thank when I wrote this hub but have lost it of course! I wish I could remember each and every single person.. but if you are reading this hub, you know who you are and I TRULY thank you :)

There are several wonderful hubbers I've met along the way who have left an impression on me one way or the other....

randomcreative- Rose, you blow me away with your craft and teaching hubs, you always inspire me! You are a talented teacher, crafter and writer for sure. Another thing I want to say is thank you for all of your wonderful comments on my hubs- I always love "seeing" you. Thank you again and hugs :)

sunshine625- Linda, I knew I would like you as soon as I read one of your Casey Anthony hubs.. :) You were hilarious! You are very popular here and I can definitely see why... I have always admired your outgoing personality and your cheerfulness. If there is one person here on HubPages that I would love to be more like, it would be you. Thank you and hugs :)

billybuc- Bill- I appreciate your honest and truthful hubs, I can tell that you are really trying to help people and make a difference and you continually remind me of those things I have no business forgetting- ever. Thank you and hugs :)

Jeannieinabottle- Girl you are so funny! I love reading your hubs.. you are such a talented writer and you always make me chuckle. I think we are around the same age so I think that is one of the reasons I relate with you so well. Thank you and hugs :)

sunbun143- Sunny- Thank you for all of your super nice comments on my craft hubs.. I love that we have crafting in common. I won't forget that you downloaded some of my free prinables (St. Patrick's Day cupcake picks!) and you were kind enough to send a photo of how you used them. It's things like that that make the time and effort creating those printables worth it. Also, you say that I have inspired you but I think you have inspired me ever more :) I am really happy that we met here. Thank you and hugs :)

teaches12345- You have commented on a good many of my hubs... and I am grateful for each and every one! I enjoy your yummy recipe hubs and the ones you have written about children and how to enrich their lives and help them emotionally and mentally to be the best they can be. You have helped me better understand and do things with my 4 year old son. Thank you and hugs :)

Au fait - For all of the wonderful comments on my hubs, I truly thank you. I enjoy all the creative ideas you have shared in my comments as well. Your hubs are awesome... I always enjoy reading them! When I think of your hubs, I think "thought provoking" and you bring out great points... They really help me to keep an open mind about things. Thank you and hugs :)

moonlake- What a creative person you are... I really do enjoy reading your hubs! I particularly enjoy the ones about vintage furniture, re-purposing and things like that. Also, I "see" you often and appreciate your visits and lovely comments! Thank you and hugs :)

carol7777- You are one of the newer hubbers I've been having fun getting to know.. It's always a treat to read your comments and I love reading your hubs as well. One thing that struck me about you was your honesty and how you open up here in your hubs about real issues in your life. I also enjoy your food hubs too! Thank you and hugs :)

Glimmer Twin Fan- I have enjoyed reading your comments on my hubs lately.. and love visiting your hubs as well.. Craft hubs are my most favorite hubs.. it's always nice to meet fellow crafters here and I look forward to many more of your hubs! Thank you and hugs :)

DeborahNeyens- I had to update this and add your name.. of course, I knew I would forget some people! You have have commented on a good many of my hubs as well.. I really do appreciate your support.. Thank you and Hugs :)

Again, I am sure I'm forgetting some people here.. but it's not intentional and will certainly add you as you all come to mind :)

Since I've opened my account here, I have been lucky to have so many nice people who have visited and commented on my hubs, some of them multiple times. So recently I have been thinking about it and feel bad that maybe I haven't returned the favor enough or as much as I should have or maybe I missed some people completely. For a while it was hard to keep track of everyone and I didn't have enough time to visit the hubs of each and every person who left a comment on my hubs but I have always done my best to reply to each and every comment I've received letting the commenter know how grateful I am that they took the time to comment. Another thing I try to do is when I notice the same person commenting multiple times, I always try to go and check out their hubs and comment as much as I can as well.

My learning here at HubPages has come in phases. First I was concerned about writing good hubs, then I focused more on the SEO part of it.. Then I got to the point where I wanted to just write and not worry about any of that so I've been doing that for a while. Recently, I've noticed a lot more sharing by followers so I really want to return the favor. My early experience with AdSense made me scared to do practically anything, especially sharing, so I was afraid for a while. Now it's been over 2 years, it's slowed down. Some of you may notice I comment on a few of your hubs at a point in time and then later a few more. That's because I'm actually having time to get caught up on my digest emails. For a while I couldn't keep up with them and had to delete. Now, I don't delete them if I get behind.. I save them and go through them when I have time.

Also, I would like to share a little bit about myself.... I'm really a very shy person, reserved..with many insecurities (like many of us).. You'd think that since we are online and I don't actually "see" any of you that it would be easy to get in there and get to know people but I still find it difficult to reach out and get to know people but I'm really trying .... so please hang with me! I do find it easier to connect with the crafters here because it's one of my favorite things to do but I would like to branch out a little more.

I've grown addicted to HubPages for real... and it would be very odd to me if I couldn't visit here anymore since this site has been in my life now almost daily for the past 2 years. Hopefully, I'll get to know more of you a bit better as time goes by. If you are new here to HubPages and just happen to be reading this hub, I wish you the best of luck here... You will never find a better community of talented writers. If you have questions, don't be afraid to ask... Someone will be happy to help. They always were for me.

Oh, and one more very important thing! A big THANK YOU to the HubPages staff for responding to any issues that I've had and for helping make HubPages into the wonderful place that it is today :)

PS. After reading this back over this, you would think that I've won a Grammy or something, LOL! I have a tendency to get dramatic sometimes but I stand by everything I've said here... I'm just very grateful to be a part of this wonderful community and in all seriousness, I'm grateful for everyone who has been supportive along the way.
